I’m Rafael Garcia — founder of Lucia Media.

I didn’t grow up around venture capital. I grew up around grit.

My mom was a local hairdresser. My dad was an immigration lawyer helping families build better lives. From them, I learned that local businesses are the backbone of our communities — and that work ethic is non-negotiable.

I excelled in marketing early, finishing at the top of my class, then built a five-year career in high-performance sales and software. I later partnered with Express SMS, where I secured partnerships with Shopify and Eventbrite, helped scale operations, and drove serious revenue growth.

But I always knew I wanted to help the businesses I grew up around.

That’s why I built Lucia Media — a performance-driven local SEO agency focused on helping service businesses dominate their markets, rank where it matters, and turn visibility into revenue.
